Let’s Talk About Your Move to the Netherlands

You've done the research. You've watched all the videos. Now you have specific questions about your situation and you want real answers from someone who has actually lived the process you are about to start.

8+ years in the Netherlands. Permanent resident. Homeowner. Business owner. I navigated every step of this process — including recovering from a corporate layoff in the Netherlands — without a relocation package and without a roadmap.

How It Works

Before we talk, I need to understand your situation. Every client gets a customised experience — not a script, not a generic checklist. That means I need to know where you are, what you are trying to do, and what is keeping you up at night about your move.

Step 1 — Fill out the short form at the bottom of this page.

Five questions. Less than two minutes. This tells me enough to know if I can genuinely help you.

Step 2 — I review your request personally.

I'll respond within 48 hours. If your situation is a good fit, I'll send you a payment link and a booking link to confirm your slot.

Step 3 — You confirm your slot.

Your place is reserved once payment is received. Not before.

Step 4 — I send you a preparation questionnaire.

After payment, I'll send you a set of questions specific to your situation — this information will inform and ensure our time together is focused and valuable from the first minute.

Step 5 — We talk.

I arrive prepared and we go straight into what matters for your specific situation.

ORIENTATION CALL — €150

One session. 60 minutes.

Before our call, I'll review your preparation questionnaire in detail. When we sit down together, we are not starting from scratch — I already know your visa pathway, your timeline, your housing situation, and what is worrying you most.

That preparation is what makes this call worth €150. You are not paying for an hour of general information you could find online. You are paying for one hour of direct, specific answers built around your exact situation.

No scripts. No generic advice. Just an informed conversation with someone who has navigated every step of this process herself.

THIS PLAN IS RIGHT FOR YOU IF:

You are in the research or early planning phase and need clarity on your specific situation before you take the next step.

THE ROADMAP — €500

Five sessions over five weeks.

This is a structured programme that takes you from decision to ready-to-arrive. Each session builds on the previous one. Nothing is repeated. Nothing is skipped.

Session 1 — Your Situation

Your customised orientation — the same focused, prepared conversation as the Orientation Call, included as the foundation of your Roadmap. We confirm your visa pathway, your timeline, and your specific circumstances before anything else.

Session 2 — Housing Strategy

The Dutch housing market is in crisis. In the Randstad — Amsterdam, Utrecht, Rotterdam, Den Haag — you may be competing with 50 to 400 applicants for a single rental. We go through what to budget, where to look, what the market actually looks like in your target province, and how to begin your search from outside the country.

Session 3 — Registration and Systems

The sequence that matters: BSN, DigiD, bank account, health insurance, utilities — and why the order you do these things in is not optional. I give you the exact steps, the links that work, and the shortcuts that most don't know.

Session 4 — Cultural Preparation

Eight years of living here has taught me things no guidebook covers. What Dutch directness actually feels like in a workplace. How the poldermodel affects your daily life. What the first six months emotionally really look like. What expats consistently underestimate — and what they consistently overcomplicate.

Session 5 — Your Open Questions

Before this session you send me your remaining questions in writing. I prepare specific answers. We use the full hour on whatever is still unresolved.

Between sessions: one follow-up email per session.

THIS PLAN IS RIGHT FOR YOU IF:

You are actively planning a move within the next 6 to 12 months and need a structured plan across the full picture.

CONCIERGE SUPPORT — €1,500

90 days. Personal. Maximum 3 concurrent clients.

This is for families and individuals doing a full relocation who want sustained, personal support across the entire process — before, during, and after arrival.

Before you arrive:

Everything in The Roadmap, plus a pre-arrival checklist tailored specifically to your household — your province, your visa pathway, your family situation.

Within your first 72 hours:

We meet in person. Not in two weeks when you have already figured things out on your own — within 72 hours, when everything is still disorienting. We spend two hours together on your immediate practical reality: what to do first, what to do this week, and how to navigate the systems that will feel most foreign right now.

If you are still in a hotel or temporary accommodation when we meet, the session focuses on that situation — what to prioritise before you have a permanent address, and how to run your housing search from inside the country.

Within your first 30 days:

One emergency call. For the thing that comes up that you did not plan for. Available in the first 30 days only.

At the end of 90 days:

A debrief. What is working. What still needs attention. What the next 90 days look like.

Optional add-on — Airport Welcome: €250. If you would like to be met personally at Schiphol on arrival day and transferred to your accommodation, this can be arranged. Ask about availability when you submit your form.

THIS PLAN IS RIGHT FOR YOU IF:

You are relocating as a family, doing a full lifestyle move, or want consistent personal support from the decision through your first 90 days on the ground.

Who This Is For

My clients are people who are seriously considering a move to the Netherlands — not casually curious, not looking for someone to make the decision for them, but genuinely ready to do the work a real relocation requires.

They are financially stable, they come prepared, and they want straight answers — not reassurance.

If that sounds like you, fill out the form below.

What I Don't Offer

I am not a real estate agent. I cannot find you a house or negotiate your lease.

I am not an immigration lawyer. I cannot give you legal advice or file your visa application.

I am not a yes-person. If your plan has a problem, I will tell you.

If you are looking for someone to validate a decision you have already made regardless of the facts, I am not the right fit.

Before We Talk

This short form helps me understand your situation before I respond. The more specific you are, the more useful my response will be.

What is the one question you most need answered right now?

I personally review every request and respond within 48 hours. If your situation is not the right fit for my services, I will tell you directly — and point you somewhere more useful if I can.

What Happens Next

After you submit this form you will receive a confirmation email from info@enjoyingthejourney.com acknowledging your request. Within 48 hours I will review your answers and respond personally.

If it is a good fit, I will send you a payment link and a booking link. Your slot is confirmed once payment is received.

Whatever you do, keep Enjoying the Journey.
